Ecommerce websites for US businesses

Everything in the website package, plus the selling side: catalogue, cart, checkout, payments into your own account, stock, orders and invoices. $801 one time.

$801one time · a complete online store

First 25 US clients, then $1,199. Year two onwards is $349 a year if you want us to keep looking after it.

The selling side, in full

On top of everything the website package includes.

Catalogue

Categories, filters and variants — sizes, colours, options — so a customer finds the thing they came for rather than scrolling.

Cart and checkout

A checkout built to be finished on a phone, because that is where most of them are abandoned.

Payments into your account

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, settling into your own payment account. The processor's fee is typically around 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction and is paid by you to them, not to us.

Stock and discounts

Inventory that updates as you sell, discount codes, and shipping rules by zone.

Orders and invoices

An owner's dashboard, order notifications, statuses and invoices — and customer accounts so people can see what they bought.

Your own admin

Add a product, change a price, run a sale. Without calling us and without paying for an hour of anybody's time.

What is inside the price, and what is not

Inside: the design, the build, the store itself, and the first year of hosting, security, daily backups, bug fixes and support.

Outside, and paid to somebody else rather than to us: your domain name, usually $12 to $20 a year to the registrar and registered in your name so it stays yours; and the payment processor's transaction fee. We say so here because a store quote that hides those two is a quote that grows after you have agreed to it.

How it goes

The same four steps as a website, with a longer build.

  1. Discover — freeWhat you sell, how you ship it, and how you take money today.
  2. Scope — freeA written scope and one fixed price. Never by the hour.
  3. Build — 4 to 6 weeksFrom the day we have your product information and photographs. Working screens along the way, two rounds of revisions per stage.
  4. Hand overA walkthrough of the dashboard: adding products, running a discount, reading an order. Then the first year is already covered.

Questions people ask first

How much does an ecommerce website cost?

$801 one time, with the whole of the first year included. That is the price for our first 25 US clients; after that the same package is $1,199. A website without the selling side is $501.

Do you take a cut of my sales?

No. Payments settle into your own account, and we never sit between you and your money. The only ongoing cost on a sale is your payment processor's fee, typically around 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction, which you pay to them.

How long does a store take to build?

Four to six weeks, counted from the day we have your product information and photographs. The catalogue is usually what decides it: fifty products with variants takes longer to get right than five.

Can I add products and run sales myself?

Yes, that is the point of the dashboard. Products, prices, stock, discount codes and shipping rules are all yours to change, and we walk you through each one at handover.

What happens after the first year?

$349 a year if you want us to keep hosting, updating and supporting the store — about $29.08 a month. It is optional. The store, the content and all the data are yours, exportable at any time, with no charge to leave.
